MEET THE BAND
Pat Wertman
bass / vocals Pat Wertman’s passion for music began when he heard a family member playing on the radio. When he thought about how many people could be listening, he knew he wanted to do the same: be heard.
Pat began playing the bass guitar at the age of 13, and though he has learned to play other instruments since, the bass has remained his main gig. He loves and is inspired by all genres of music, but his favorites are smooth jazz and classic rock. He has played and recorded with Wilson Fairchild – previously known as Grandstaff – and sat in on miscellaneous recording sessions with various other groups. While performing with bands other than Stone Rollin’, he has opened for George Jones, Diamond Rio, Clint Black, Anne Murray, Charlie Pride, John Schneider, John Anderson, The Guess Who, Ronnie Milsap, Wynonna Judd and Lonestar. One of Pat’s favorite aspects of performing is keeping the rhythm on the bass, allowing the musicians around him to have creative freedom. Pat’s musical creativity, humility and raw talent are what make him such an exceptional bassist. |
